On a Mission

It's my hope to have my creativity provide for my family!  I have started creating inventory for a craft show in Cold Spring, KY on November 2nd.  I've been blessed with many generous people in my life.  These amazing givers have allowed me to stay at home with my son, and be the attached parent that I've always wanted to be.  This blog will include projects, items for sale, tutorials, and an insight into my ever changing life. Come along with me on a journey to self discovery, love, and spreading happiness through connecting with others around me.  I'm glad you have stumbled upon this page, and I hope that you are able to find something useful for you, physically or emotionally.

My rad little man :-)

Here are some jewelry pieces I've made.
Everything you see here is made from 90% recycled and re-purposed materials.

Teal necklace, bracelet and matching ring

Who can resist smiling at daisy jewelry??

Wire rings I've been dabbling with.

More necklaces

Pearl bead bracelet (two tone)

Orange/Red necklace and bangle set. Perfect for fall!

The chaos of creating things!

I'll be posting often and filling you in on what I'm up to.  Yesterday was a tough day for crafting.  Max, my son, is teething and just wanting mommy in general.  He also decided that naps just weren't for him yesterday, so I was able to sneak in some work here and there.  I wouldn't trade it for anything though.  I do believe there may have been a time in our world where we spent more time with our families than we did at work.  Families used to work together too, on farms and in family businesses.  This is why I'm a huge supporter of small businesses run by good people!  Why not spend your money to allow for someone to directly care for their family, rather than inflating big companies with more money for their execs and nothing to show for their hardest working employees?? Okay, rant over.  I'm excited to begin this endeavor. Be on the look out for a family blog that Jeremy (my best friend, boyfriend, and baby daddy) and I are co-authoring.  Should be full of highly entertaining and useful material. Max calls so I'll leave you with this: begin and end your day today with reminding yourself of all the things you are grateful for.
